For how long do you store personal data?

Kiddow Oy will only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes defined in this privacy policy statement. We may also need to store some of your data for longer than that for legal purposes as defined by e.g. Accounting Law.

Access to customer data is restricted to Kiddow Oy employees. Our staff is trained to maintain your privacy and security and to use your data ethically. Data Deletion

As a customer, you may request that your personal data be removed from Kiddow Oy systems, thus preventing further use for the purposes mentioned in this statement. We may be legally obligated by Finnish law to keep some of your data for longer than that. The following purposes may be affected:

  • - Accounting Law defines longer storage periods for data regardless of whether it contains personal information
  • - system logs are collected and stored as demanded by law in order to ensure a lawful and secure online store
  • - sufficient back-up copies of store databases and systems are taken in order to ensure data safety, solve problem situations, and ensure data security and continuity

 

Customer Rights

As a customer of Kiddow Oy, you have the right to:

  • - request correcting or deleting your personal data by contacting our customer service

The request must reasonably identify you as the user in question so that our customer service can verify your identity. If we are not able to fully comply with your request for whatever reason, such as when we have a legal obligation or right to keep some of your data, we will notify you. How can I affect the use and collection of my personal data?

Kiddow Oy is committed to giving its customers control over how their personal data is collected and used. You decide whether you will receive our marketing emails. The option can be found on the My Account page. We are constantly developing our services; these features may be added to, changed or removed.

You also have the right to terminate your customer account at any time and request that Kiddow Oy delete your personal data by contacting our customer service. Note! In some cases we cannot delete all your data, and in others, we may be obligated to keep it for legal purposes.

Will my personal data be shared with any third parties?

We have to share some information with third parties in order to guarantee successful delivery and payment processes. Your information will also be shared with the credit provider for credit evaluation and approval. You may restrict sharing your data for marketing purposes in the account settings.
